Hello, WCOF preschool parents!
We are so excited for another year of learning and laughter, of friendship and faith, here at Wesley’s Circle of Friends Preschool. As the new pastor of Wesley Church, I am looking forward to finding new ways to connect with your kiddos, as we continue to enhance the relationship between our preschool and our church.
In the coming weeks, watch for information about ways we’ll be highlighting our preschool and celebrating the achievements of our preschool friends during our weekly worship services. Also, keep an eye out for advertisements about church programs and events that might be of interest to your family.
Please know that my door is always open to you, whether you’re a member of Wesley Church, or you’re part of another worshipping congregation, or you’re still searching for a faith community to call “home.”
In the coming weeks, I’ll be launching a book study designed for families of our preschool friends. Our first book selection will be Searching for Sunday: Loving, Leaving, and Finding the Church, by Rachel Held Evans. The study is tentatively scheduled for Monday mornings when many of our preschool classes are in session. It’s my hope that this will be a casual yet meaningful time for us to connect with one another while growing in our own faith journeys. To help me plan this study, I’d welcome your feedback on the Book Club Survey below — just fill it out and click the submit button!
In the meantime, I want to once again welcome you to Wesley’s Circle of Friends Preschool. Thank you for entrusting this important part of your child’s journey to us.
May God bless our preschool staff and families in this coming year!
Blessings,
Pastor Candy LaBar
